    100% (Normal Status): Nothing inrease

    70% (Tired Stage 1): Reduce Character Stats by 20%

    50% (Tired Stage 2): Reduce Character Stats by 50%

    0% (Exhaust): Here is the point where your character will not be able to deal any DMG, and Reduce Character Stats by 100%

    When will the stamina gauge reduce ?

    When the player begin to hit the mobs/other player, the gauge will begin to reduce and will stop when player are out of combat


    Q&A

    Is the system a punishment for Player who grind or dungeon ?

    The system give the player & party bonus in stats increase so it is a give and take


    How will this system effect Guild level ?

    Player will be able to "rest" every time, they going back to camp for new quest, so it will not have any effect


    Why do we need this system ?

    Add in reality feeling into the game where the character can become exhaust in after long time combat.

    Will this system effect DoH or DoL ?

    This system is for DoW and DoM, DoH and DoL will not have any effect

    Is this a gil sink system ?

    Yes, it is a gil sink system with "give and take"

    note: where this system come from is not something we ll discuss in here so please do not talk about other game and remember to be nice to each other


    edit: For ppl that think this is a system that prevent you from EXP, please re-read the post and give it a though before vote & reply


    edit 2: Because of to many ppl mis-understand the idea, I ll say it out here:

    1. This system dont prevent you from exp because the "stamina gauge" wont take long to refill, that s why the CS Duration have only 1h (if I suggest that you cant play at all, I wont suggest the "player CS", think about it)

    2. This system is mainly for 30+ party

    3. No you dont spend 50k/h, you spend 50k for the first CS, and you later keep it alive by add in supply that cost 500 gil


    4. that mean if you always have CS with you, your bonus stat will always be 120%

    5. from 120% to 70% will be 2h of hitting or being hit (while in combat)


    Maybe hes Tanaka, did you lost your mind?

    Thats the system we had but with exp, so what do u expect that people will look before inviting? how rest people are, so less you play the better you are at stats but worst at playing.

    Since release we had a system like that and everyone hated it, so i think i can talk for the real players here saying NO

    The only thing i would say yes if they make that if you log off at your house or city you get a bonus on exp or stats for resting for some time, thats the system WoW had for casuals to catch up, but i dont mind if they dont implemment it

    Well, it's obvious it won't be implemented. But it's worth the try IMO.

    If there is a thing this dev team is lacking is creativity...so if for every 10 bad suggestions a good one pop, we are already good enough! ^^

    I must say i do think surplus could be adjusted in a way to work properly instead of being removed...just like every single mechanics from original FFXIV. The real peoblem of surplus actually was the grudge the playerbase grew against it...and it never really had a chance of being adjusted...it had like 1 adjustment during the last week of beta because was trigging too fast and that's it.

    IMO surplus was just another feature that never had the chance of being balanced due dev team change.

    I feel the reason the fatigue system came across so poorly was because it hindered players who played a lot opposed to helping them. (Basically killing players who play hardcore)

    This system would do the same in the forum of gil sink. The reason why WoWs 'rested' type system works is because it gives players a bonus for not playing. Never hindering the current players who play a lot.

    ^- I would agree to this if and only if it was given to those players who either 'rested' their character in whatever matter of means players would do this by.

    Because why would I pay for a game that I have exhausted my character and no longer do 0 dmg to an enemy? Even if the stamina gain is fast. Lol screw that. Paying customers should be given bonuses for becoming rested, but never held back just simply because they "play or do" something too much.

    Every time i see Nariko avatar i think "What a pretty kitty you have there!" =P

    And yep, i believe the main issue here was the same from original surplus...creating a situation that render players unable to play. Because 50% stats is the very same of 50% SP from original surplus...it's too much of a penalty.

    IMO if surplus was something similar to FFXI merit points it wouldn't bring any issue at all. Being a way to hold down players growth without penalties...just "conversions".

    edit: I rather try to do some contribute to the game even the idea was god damn horrible rather than go around and assume other ppl are scumbag

    yes i really like this idea. i for one would love nothing more then to grind xp for 20 mins and have to return to the city to spend my gil so i can rest up and go xp again for 20 mins. this is the best idea ever, im surprised its not in game already.

    I'm finding it really hard to find a reason for this tbh, if it were added then the devs would have to just balance the game for this +20% stats. The OP also failed to explain why we'd need it. Just to make it so we have to (even if we dont want to) go somewhere every couple hours? No thanks, its unnecessary and would limit our gameplay, yet again.
