Suggestion for Everyone~

I've been thinking of this for awhile and it would be really cool.. But, would probably be difficult to implement into the game.

1) It would be cool if all gear that was shared via jobs like (ex.Healer Gear = AST, WHM, SCH) had 3 Glamour slots. These slots would be for each of the jobs so then even though you have the same gear, you'll be wearing different glamour depending what you put in the slot. If your a WHM and you choose to use slot 1, it would be saved for only that job. Slot 2 can be used for AST or SCH and saved etc. Same works for the Tank gear, ARCH/MCH gear and so on. And if people prefer to share the same look, then the slots could be disabled in options and you could just wear the glamour as before. That way people don't have to be stuck wearing something on their DRK or WHM that they rather wear on their WAR or SCH.

2) It would also be cool..and very wide spread if there was a gender pose toggle. FF14 seems like the game that friendly with all types of same gender-based opposite gender-based things and there are a lot of manly girls and girly guys that play that im sure wouldnt mind playing as their own gender but using the opposite gender poses. Ex. If your a Male Au Ra, but you want to sit like a Female Au Ra, Using the Gender toggle would simple just switch the pose; just like the Pose change toggle. You'd still have to sit like your race, but you can sit as the opposite gender if you want to look cutesy or...basic(???) I dont know where i was going with that last sentence.

Anyway, same goes for a Female character. If they prefer the tough looking sit or a different sit because all of the female ones look bad to them; then they have the option to sit how the male of their race sit. This would also include standing/Weapon holding. I personally wouldnt mind having the female Arcanist weapon idle. Girls read books better than boys in this game ; ;
Dances and Emotes would probably be the same cause that would be too much work.. but its all just a suggestion.

This would give players a lot more options of how they want to represent their characters and their personalities. Think about it /o/

This, I completely agree with. At level 60, I use one crafting set. One. For all crafting classes. I wish all my crafting classes had their own distinct look...

Ikr? It sucks that you gotta share everything and cant change cause its shared :c This system would make it a lot more flexible. And the pvp job-specific glamours wouldn't be as useless.

Hmm that's not a half bad idea might be hard to implant but if it's posable I'm all for it nice thinking

This actual suggestion has been brought up with Yoshi P, in a live letter Q&A I think. He said that the existing system makes that extremely difficult since the appearance is attached to the specific item rather than the character's spec. Implementing such a system would be a pretty major project even if the system could be altered to accommodate it.

That said, glamour concerns are something that comes up pretty often so maybe it will get bumped in priority once they have finished the server upgrades/Inventory expansion. Still, even if they started working on it immediately we probably wouldn't see something till 5.0 at the earliest.

I would like such a feature though.

By the way, you can bypass the post limit by editing the original post. Basically type what you want to type. Copy and delete all but a few lines of it and post it. Then edit the post and paste the rest of the post back on.

I wish I could create separate glams for the same healer set... My healers use different looking weapons, and I just wish I could make matching glams for each ):

It's not a good solution since it may use (waste) a lot of memory on the server. Also it would be a nightmare for the UI.

The good solution is to delete the current system and let the players set their appearance with gearsets.
