This, like City of Heroes and their multiple custom slots. Anyway glamour system in general need to be upgrade, even WoW had a better one now! :P

Would be nice to implement any of these. People need to understand, too, that if a game was not built with certain things in mind, adding things in retrospectively can prove exceedingly difficult. Even if it seems simple enough.
Pretty much what Genz and Kei said. It's easier to rebuilt a new system from the ground-up, but it's a nightmare for the programmer. Still imo should be done at some point though.
Although the base idea is good, I still prefer the suggestion someone else had a while ago.
Basically, save a Glamour to a Job Crystal, so that when the crystal is equipped, if the gear you're wearing allows, then the crystal projects the glamour onto that gear. So if you're wearing level 1 beach outfits, your WHM AF glamour won't go onto those because they're too low level (can't glamour the appearance of a high level item on a low level item), but if you switch gearsets to your current WHM equipment, the glamour applies.
Considering items like Y'shtola's Moddish Attire set an entire appearance on your character from a single item (chest slot), it doesn't seem impossible to give other items this functionality, all that needs to be done is give players the ability to modify what the Job Crystal shows. To simplify it further SE could go so far as to just make it work for Boots, Pants, Gloves, Chest, and Head. No accessories or weapons.
As for the other suggestion about /genderchangepose, I could only see myself using that in a handful of situations, namely, DRK unsheathed weapon /changepose. Female characters by and far got the superior pose there. So, bring it on I say.
I would love to change emote sets, honestly; the male Miqo'te defaults are mostly way too confident looking for my shy character. I'm sure there are some tomboy Miqo'te ladies out there who'd love to switch, too.
The only thing is that it would probably be tough or actually impossible to swap for the races like Au Ra and Roegadyn who have a strong sexual dimorphism going, and therefore very different skeletons that might not work with the preexisting animations. It's probably not physically possible for Au Ra males to sit like their females (see Miqo'te ladies getting a similar sit pose a while back that did weird things to their leg models).
If they do anything, though, I hope they include mount riding poses as well; I main WHM, so a lot of my glamour ends up being long robes or coats, which look frankly ridiculous when riding astride. I ought to be able to switch to sidesaddle like Elezen and Hyur ladies to minimize the clipping (and danger of snagging something and falling off!).

The female highlander sitting pose(default) needs to be made available to everyone because it's simply too nice ;_;
While you have a point about the potential issue regarding how the emotes' animations would work on races like Au Ra and Roegadyn, I am reminded of another japanese MMO game called Phantasy Star Online 2, where they have set the ability for all characters to play emotes for both genders, regardless of the player character's gender.I would love to change emote sets, honestly; the male Miqo'te defaults are mostly way too confident looking for my shy character. I'm sure there are some tomboy Miqo'te ladies out there who'd love to switch, too.

And also in that game, you can make characters that are really different from one another, height factor included, and yet emotes will still work fine.
Anyway, I guess my point is that I think that despite the massive difference between genders for some races, it might not be that far-fetched that making a character being able to play emotes of both genders could be possible, and that the emotes still work fine.
The skeleton issue can be fixed via the poses would just have to be tempered with abit. There are many poses that people dislike for their races and gender and prefer for the opposite race/gender. If thats even possiable; im sure it is and im sure its really difficult.
From what im told gender restriction/race restriction will be taken out (But that could just be a false rumor) but whether it ish or not; i think the whole gender toggle..or even a race toggle would be good that way there are more options. It sucks for males tbh when it comes to the muscle mass since only humans (from what ive learned) have the option to show muscle or just a mesh of flesh with very small lines that chu cant see with skintone. It would be nice if all races (obviously not lalafell) had the muscle mass edit that way au ra wont look so sloppy and miqoute will look...uhh decently more basic (??) idk where that was going. But anyway, there is just a lot of room for improvement when it comes to character design/poses and etc overall.
The fact that this has been brought up is a start, im glad that atleast they are aware of what a lot of people want and they are aware that whether difficult or not; that there will probably be some sort of substitution for this issue. Whether it be in 5.0, 6.0, 9.0 its fine since huge projects will take a long, logn while before they actually work and thats IF it doesnt glitch or break the game x.x But i'm still happy that they are aware. Awareness ish good ; - ;
And ty for the tip Belhi > ^<
I like your suggestion for more glamour options.
I'm not entirely for your suggestion for shared emotes.
