Confusion with SE ID's and Service Accounts

Hello I am very confused about the registration process and I can't play the game that I bought.

I first tried a trial of the game, created SE ID A. 14 days expired, the game was on sale, I purchased it on Steam.

I launch the game on Steam, and somehow I end up on an account screen for SE ID B. I shrug, thinking I must have made another account a long time ago.

I register my codes on account B. I get to a screen where it looks like I'm supposed to do something to complete registration of my Service Account 1, but I can't figure it out.

I go to change my password so at least I won't be locked out of this account. This appears to be successful.

So now, I can do this: in the launcher, if I enter account A information, it correctly tells me that my time has expired. If I click on the "Account" button on the bottom, it gives me the info on account B. However, I can not log in with account B in order to play the game.

Your character is also associated with a specific account. If you made the character with "A," then you would need to still log in with "A" in order to continue playing the same character. Instead logging in with a "B" account means you cannot get to the character on the other account.

As for figuring out how to complete registration, I suspect you need to enter a product key on the Mog Station web site. After you click "My Account" there, you should see buttons for entering a variety of codes.

So hopefully you have an unused code still that you can register to the account that actually has your character (and just ignore the apparently extra account) and then when you log in to "A" again, it will no longer tell you that your time has expired (since you'll get thirty days free with the purchase of A Realm Reborn).

Which trial did you use? The SE one or the Steam one?

The Windows SE version and the Steam version cannot be on the same account. If you did your trial using the Windows SE version, you won't be able to continue with the trial character if you bought the Syeam version.

Also you'll be locked into the steam version indefinitely should you stick with it. So anytime theres a new expansion (20 JUN 2017) you have to buy the steam version whether you like it or not. Windows and steam versions are not compatible, and you cannot switch. It says you're only a level 3 pugilist, so at this point you can literally get back to that level in like 5 mins.
