[Request] Body Tattoos

I don't know if this has been requested before or not, but I think it'd be really cool to have a character customization option for tattoos. If you think about it, other characters in-game have unique tattoos (the scions for example all have one..).

I'd love to be able to give my character tribal/lore related tattoos and I don't believe they'd be too far fetched from the game nor too hard to implement (consider facial tattoos..)

On that note, I would also like to request seperate tattoo "slots" or the ability to use more than one. I think it's kind of dumb that we can have eyeshadow but no blush, etc when they aren't something that even overlaps. I feel like it'd help us give our characters a more unique look/personality.

Umm... just think of the face paints as tattoos. I do.

There's no reason they couldn't do this, I suppose, but it would have to be handled very well. Doing so would add even more customization options to the character creator, though, and if I recall they've mentioned that's stressed as it is. This is, presumably, why the face "paint" options are limited to only eye shadow or only blush, etc.

Considering how much people ask about it, I'd wager the butt slider happening first. But hey, y'never know...

It...would probably be more at home in General Discussion, yeah...

I mean, technically they already have their hands full and already shot down more options for the character creation (with the butt slider being a "we'll look into it since fan demand is outrageously high") but there's no lore reason we can't have tattoos (I mean, legacy players already have one). However, seeing as how tribal markings appear in the Arachne(?) MNK and NIN set and, I think, the south seas talisman, they'd be relegated to a kind of "shirtless" chest-piece glamour.

Considering the answer in regards to underwear during fanfest I sounds like its unlikely that we will see tattoos any time soon.

It would likely require a LOT of work for something that hasn't gotten a lot of hype. And clearly a butt slider is higher on their list.

I would advocate for body paint over tattoos. Something that isn't permanent and needs no lore reason for being any color or added/removed. Just some theater grade body paint that can withstand getting wet and rubbing against fabric.

I'd get a tramp stamp in bright pink and black.
