Zloe quests have me concerned with collectible score

Hello everyone, I am here because today I got to the 3rd heart of Zloe's hand in quest and the top score for the best rewards on gathering is 500.

Now, I have full on Ironworks and High Mythrite main and off hand tools as well as a 600GP and I can BARELY reach 500 unless I go all out with Discerning Eye and Methodical Appraisal and even then the most I got was a 520.

If the Zloe quests continue to increase in difficulty, I think I wont be able to get the best rewards no matter how hard I try and I find that disheartening and even repugnant.

Is there even a way to get like 550 or something like that? I looked around for some rotations and such but nothing that is clear on what to do for a higher score. The only thing I can think of is getting lucky with Impulsive Appraisal but I have a loathing, festering hatred for all things RNG so I don't even glance in that direction.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I take it you haven't really done much with Collectable Gathering for Aethersands and such?

It's perfectly possible to get 550... but unfortunately for your "Festering Hatred", the optimal rotation is reliant upon RNG with Impulsive Appraisal.

I do some collectible gathering for sands... or rather I used to. It has been 2 patches since I did any type of collectible gathering simply because I dislike it and the time I have for playing has been diminishing by a lot. Now there is a reason to gather and I am loving the Zloe quests because its not only does it have a purpose, it is not bound by timed nodes.

This is the rotation for the counterfoils so it will work perfectly.

Or just go insane! Keep respawning the nodes til you get a +2 attempts, then use 4 utmost+meth and one discerning+meth. You should wind up in the 630 range with good gear. Plus that way even if your gear isnt quite as good, you should still nail whatever requirement she asks of you. Itll just take a little longer.

(note: i actually do use the ephemeral rotation shown above when looking for higher numbers personally, but i understand not everyone is as comfortable with reacting on the fly)

Also to note 600 GP is the bare minimum i believe for gathering, so when you can i suggest do some melding if you have not to your gear.
Also i usually use food, you can get some cheap at the Tap Keeper (i believe it is called) at the Gold Saucer
