[Dev Request] Please increase the amount of wards when releasing Shirogane.

I am so scared that I won't be able to buy a house because of house flippers, and the demand for them. I really want one, and plan to save up before the game, but I'm worried that when they go up it'll be too late. Every time a new ward is up with a patch, I end up in a que with at log in, with hundreds of people, and it just ends up being for naught. Please do something about this SE. I suggest that you increase the number of all wards to 15, or make it so that when a ward is full, it automatically makes a new one. I don't care what you do, but something needs to be done. Smaller servers are just too quiet for my tastes, and I can't just pack up, and leave the FC im a master of. Please make it possible for everyone to have a home.

Couldn't agree more. Please increase the wards for all of the housing districts upon releasing Shirogane. It would really help the higher populated servers.

I really think one private house and one FC house (so FC leaders can still own a private home) per account per server would help. A lot of people say it wouldnt make a big difference I but I disagree. I believe it would make a noticeable impact. I personally know several people who have multiple houses AND an apartment (I don't get why) who intend to buy a house in Shirogane on top of what they already have. One person should not be eating up so many limited resources while others go without IMO.

One house that all your characters on a given server can access is more than enough. If you're ambitious enough to level alts in this game, and just have to have their own residence for RP purposes, you can always go for an apartment on them. But given that non-apartment housing is a limited resource, it just seems like one private house and one FC house per account per server is the most fair way to do it AND it also limits property flipping a bit.

Additional Wards help too, but less so than limiting how many properties any one account can own would IMO. I'm all for both things happening though.

I agree as long as FC houses don't count as you say. Would suck a gob if you own a home, your FC leader dips out, you get made leader by default and you lost your house, or its your turn and are overpassed by the system.

Yea there's no way a limitation on the number of owned homes could work if you don't allow ownership of an FC house to be exempted.

This is something I would like to see. I'm sure there are people that don't see Shirogane as their new favorite housing district, but plan to get a house there anyway because it will be their only option. Yes, people who move from the existing wards to Shirogane will open up free spots, but it's riskier waiting to snatch up a plot of land the pops up rather than just going to where new wards are being opened. Expanding the existing housing wards will give more opportunity for players to purchase a house in the place they actually want to live. And those that really want to live in Shirogane won't have as much competition.

I agree that maybe limiting the amount of housing people can own per account can be the solution; one FC house and one personal house per account.
On the other hand, a much more reasonable solution, in my opinion, would be to limit the housing one person can own per server. Ex: If my main owns an FC house and personal house, any other alts I make on that server can't own any.
This problem is something I have seen a lot, people and their alts owning more than one personal house or FC house per server.
If SE ceased to let this happen, a lot and I mean A LOT of people across every FFXIV server would be able to finally get a home.

that's ridiculously stupid, every time people suggest this, you realize the same character would have possibly 8 roommates and even though they all have different tastes rp wise their house looks exactly the same? no, it's fine as is, own as many as you want.
