    The tank \ o /

Tough is fun to steal the aggro from a boss with both MNK and DPSing as SCH lol

But I must side with the tanks when it comes to big pulls, and some DD's just focus random mobs to piss off the tank.

It was the tank's fault 100%. It's the tank's job to hold aggro. The dps sometimes have tools to help, but aggro is the tank responsibility first and foremost.

When all else fails, just blame it on the one person you should never publicly name (whether in support or against)... the POTUS.

Yeah that was the tank's fault, not yours. I can only imagine his waifu was spamming Fire one then clearing Astral Fire at three stacks or something.

In your situation you described, it was the tanks fault, now in lvl 60 dungeons, where you as dps could be ilv 250+ and he may be lvl 200 ish. Id put the blame on you. But in your situation you laid out. The tank was to blame.

Absolutely the tank's fault. Just blind badness basically. Both of them.

I agree that you shouldn't need to have Quelling Strikes unless the tank has weak gear. I tank all the time and I never lose aggro no matter how strong the people are. Tanking is easy. If the tank is losing aggro they aren't tanking right.

If tank is geared equal to the dungeon, hate is on them. If they are, like for example a dungeon that doesn't sync down (or has a large drop) then its still tank but as a dps be considerate if they are new and leveling/gearing. :3

If your Q with a tank who is under gear yes you will pull hate but if you Q with a tank the same or close to your ilvl you shouldnt. Yes you do get lvl syn but there a big different of someone who is 260 lvl syn down to 210 dungeon stats vs someone who is 210 being lvl syn to 210 stats. If I Q as a dps and its a lvl 30 dungeon and it syn me to ilvl 30 and I got lvl 30 gear there be no way to pull hate off a tank who 260 ilvl being syn to lvl 30 stats.

Sorry for my poor english :[

When I tank I consider it a personal failure of mine whenever I lose aggro for any reason. In this case, the tank is at fault completely.

    +1

Was doing a Sephirot farm. I engaged without realizing I didn't have Shield Oath on. I felt bad when I lost aggro shortly after the pull that I remained quiet, and felt like leaving

The group forgave me, though, as it was an honest mistake.
