    Totally agree with Yoshida in terms of game content, too easy then too hard.

    So at the fanfest a question was asked about the games difficulty and that it was too easy and asked if they could have harder content. Yoshida's response was spot I say. People complain it was too easy, so we gave you Alexander A1-A4S, it was too hard, heck even when Midas came out people said it was too hard, A6S......But the A9-A12S was considered easy but thats what they want. They want a good high clear rate on raids and now people are saying it's too easy.

    I all like the good challenge over the next one but also something that not gonna make me quite the game because I've been stuck on A3S/A6S for a while........

    Thoughts on this?

    That people just will never be satisfied either way someones always gona have an opinion so I think that the devs just have to do what they feel is best as far as challenge in the game, with other things Id def say we the players should have more say but difficulty is very subjective.

    It's unfortunate because there are enough voices on both sides of the coin that when one is satisfied and other is not, there's a loud amount of protesting from one side that eventually gets filtered as "general population of players screaming" when the protests for one side and the protests from the other aren't the same groups of players.

    Ideally, the best solution is to generate enough content to satisfy both sides of the spectrum but that's resource intensive though I guess there's hope too since Yoshi-P has mentioned doing content strictly for challenge in 4.0.

    Did the person in question say savage specifically or everything else? Because if its everything else then yeah make it harder.

    Otherwise they should change the name of Expert Roulette to Endgame Roulette.

    It was specifically referencing EX Primals. But most "farm" groups I get into can't do Sophia, the "easiest" of the 3.0 primals. Theres also the "must skip soar, tank lb 2nd" mentality. Don't ask for harder content if you can't do mechanics.

    Exactly. It's all about how players approach each fight.

    Personally, I found A9/A10 to be easy with A11/A12 to be just right for the more "casual" raids. They weren't boring but weren't so hard that you couldn't clear. A9S felt like a bigger challenge which I enjoyed and not impossible.

    I loved all the primal fights in HW. Some easier than others but all of them felt like the right obstacle to overcome at the time of their release. However, people look for quick clears and don't want to take time to actually learn the fight. I'm all for cutting corners when a party can when farming...but skipping mechanics shouldn't be so demanding when the fight first comes out.

    Personally i feel 9-11 is a pretty good difficulty. though i feel A12S is easier than it should be. (Heck my group hasnt cleared it yet, and i still think its way too easy for a final battle)

    Personally thats where i think the middle ground should be, progression is easy, and the final battle is A4S difficult.

    SE : (under their breath) they said they wanted that...
    SE : OK, that was too finely balanced, this next patch is better
    Players : It's too easy!
    SE : OK, try again, it's better now.
    Players : It's too easy. It's too hard. It's too easy. It's too hard, we need a mid-core option.
    SE : Oh good grief, we can't win can we?

    Yoshi and team cannot plan and balance around the opposing points of view. IMHO they should ignore both and plot a course to balance somewhere in between the two sides of the argument, and ignore the naysayers.
