Well you always have mog weapons for joke stuff, I'm sure we'll see Masamune and similar swords too but probably as like relics and other harder to obtain items. Would like to see a jade weapon at some point (if they can make it look nice, not just a neon green color).

One weapon I thought might be a little funny is if like the sheathe of the katana was very small dagger size (3 inches tops), but as the character drew the weapon it just kept coming out becoming a near max possible length weapon from the tiny clip on your belt XD.

    Perhaps another:
Almighty Katana, The Sealed Weeabuu - with some backstory about the wielder forsaking their home and spending their fortune on a most beautiful and ornate Katana. The adventurer was unfortunately felled during the weapon's tameshigiri (when the Katana is tested on a cutting material). Due to their poor skill and overconfidence to test the sword before shown how, and great power of the Weeabuu sword, the testing bamboo exploded - making like a cactur, dotting their body with ten thousand needles. They died of dishonor, and blood loss, as they were alone. To be a lesson to other students the sword is now sealed in bent bamboo, blood red ribbons, and tied at the sheathe with two obnoxious bells. A true wielder of Weeabuu can still cut clean, even through it's bamboo skin. Attacking makes the hollow thunk sound of bamboo :3. (Could also be sealed in goza, the tatami stuff).

Don't get me wrong about the Weeabuu sword joke though, I don't think liking something of another culture automatically makes you illogical/a crazed fanatic and I see a lot of people who just enjoy the culture get called a weeaboo.. I've always considered was more for the zealous blind, usually willfully ignorant type. That's not really fair but, I do feel like when the Samurai and Katana are discussed magically out of no where all the super fanatic fans appear lol, and unfortunately the west nearly always gets dragged in with very few people know anything about western stuff (or even slightly west "eastern" stuff).
