[DRG] A possible job-specific companion?

You'll have to forgive me if this is a repeat topic.

I've recently gotten into FFXI again. I say "again", though I did only start playing in November of 2015. With that said, I went and unlocked the DRG job for fun, knowing full-well that they are a pet class with their own wyvern friend that runs around and helps them in combat. The idea, I think is pretty neat.

Then I had this weird crystallising moment, after staying up for entirely too late. Given that we've now wrapped up the Dragonsong war more or less, and Ishgard and Dragons are friends-ish, would it not be kind of neat if as a little side quest you were able, as a DRG, to get a Wyvern companion that could fight with you in battles, much like the current system we have with chocobos?

Kind of a silly thought, I know. But I'm genuinely curious how people would feel about it, if it were to happen.

I thought it would've been cool if they had a wyvern pet like XI, and they had 'dissipation' like scholar, where they consume their dragon and can use their jump abilities for massive damage for a short amount of time

A drg companion that boost or does certain actions like in FFXI. I miss that I would love to see that.

If it helped you in any ways drg's would need to be nerfed. They are already balanced.

I really just meant that they could essentially act as a chocobo glamour for DRGs only. So, same stuff the chocobos can do, just with a different coat of paint.
