    I agree with this. With the way the video looks your normal attacks don't seem to have "cast times" associated with them, only the burst-damage finishers seem to. This would be consistent with the concept of a Samurai gathering Ki to do a particularly potent attack. As long as the cast time does not cause you to lose more that 1 GCD it should be fine if the damage is significant enough to trivialize that GCD.

    They will have a cast, or some variation (hold the skill button, or a long animation lock). The last thing we see the Samurai do in the trailer is hold a charge for about 3 seconds before unleashing it. Everything up until that point was a weaponskill (or at least, they seem to invoke the GCD)- You can tell because of the aura coming from the character during activation. The last hit has no ability, OR weaponskill aura. To be fair, there's no cast aura either, but I still think whatever it turns out being, will be functionally similar.

    Bard has an oGCD skill, one of those skills you use between your GCDs. Except it also has a cast time, so it blocks you from using GCDs by the time your GCD skills are ready.

    Of all the crude changes to bard that one struck me as the most obnoxious.

    All bard attack skills have a cast time with minuet on, with the exception of bloodletter , sidewinder, straighter shot proc, and misery's end. Either I don't see what you're talking about as an issue or I've gotten used to it and does not click to me as being an issue.

    I don't mind a differing playstyle for the new melee class and I'd rather just jump out of a cast than die.

    I would think that they have some cast bar , technique bar rather. After all were is the dramatic attacks :P

    If there's animation lock, I would say that samurai will become the new norm of lolsam over loldrg for tanking the floor.
