I main WAR, for the ninjas out there, what do you find works well for you? Buffing during trash mobs and bosses, just bosses, don't care? What does a good WAR do in your opinion, what do you expect?

With dungeon mobs, don't feel that you need to apply Eye on every mob. If you don't have Flash cross classed (I don't when I play WAR) you need to Overpower anyways to keep hate. OP once/twice, then get Maim up, then continue Overpowering. If the ninja doesnt give you Goad and theres no TP using DPS spamming AOE abilities, slap the ninja in the face multiple times.
On bosses, I personally open with Unchained always, but if the NIN is giving you Shadewalker, Deliverance opener should be ok too. Just make sure to keep Eye up 100%. Waste of DPS to use Path in dungeons. The damage difference in using Aeolian Edge and Dancing Edge is massive. I die a little bit inside every time a Warrior doesnt use Storm's Eye. Ive seen a few that didnt have Maim up the entire dungeon. Steel Cyclone against single targets. The horror.
As a ninja main, I like it when WAR puts up Storm's eye or when another NIN takes initiative for Dancing Edge, as it allows me to output maximum DPS.![]()
Things are really dependent on the situation. getting main up for trash mobs can even be a DPS loss. But spamming overpower too much can also leave ya with little to nothing in TP depending on your level and group composition.
