Thread: PLEASE do NOT allow level skipping in 4.0

They need to get rid of the MSQ at least. It is so dumb I'm lvl 50 and can't go into heavensword cause I have to finish 100 quest. I personally don't care if they allow people to buy a potion. I would never use it but people should have the option. Especially with the dumb MSQ.

No, this is exactly why these potions shouldn't exist. It's a Final Fantasy game first and foremost. The story is therefor the most important aspect. If you don't like that, <kupo> off and play something that doesn't have a story.

You can still play the story if you want. It's not going any where. You shouldn't be forced to.

Most important part to who. I just wanna do dungeons and group content, not everyone plays MMO for story. Not to mention HALF the lvl 50 MSQ is teleport here talk to this person and then teleport back. Most of the quest are so dumb. If they don't introduce jump potions, newer players won't join. I should be enjoying lvl 50 dungeons and primals but I'm just teleporting around from place to place talking to people. . Once you hit 50 you should be able to go to heaven-sword there is no way new people will play if they have to go threw 2 MSQ. I am glad you love the story that much.

I wouldn't care even if it uploaded complete knowledge of the class straight into the customers brain matrix style. It's still a bad idea with terrible implementation.

Mostly useful for people with alts.

Don't listen to the OP. Level skip potions are a great addition and a required staple of the MMO genre.
