Is PvP gear usefor for progression in PvE?

I've recently been grinding wolf marks and got my iLvL up from 120 to 230, did I waste my time or will this be useful at some point in time in the future?

I have yet to finish the main storyline so I haven't encountered any endgame content yet and probably not even close to doing it.

Yes and no. The important thing to remember is PVP gear has ZERO accuracy. So make sure to replace it with gear that has accuracy as fast as possible. if you don't you'll have a hard time hitting things depending on your job. Another reason to replace them ASAP is that you basically can't meld the gear. The melds only work in PVP, but the melds don't work in PVP. It sounds stupid but it's a relic from how PVP used to work.

Weapons never have accuracy on them so you won't have to replace them until you get something with a higher ilvl.

Appreciate the response! Google wasn't any help on this particular subject.

So is there a baseline for the amount of accuracy I should at as a lvl 60 gladiator / tank? Would it be beneficial to mix and match lower iLvL gear while taking a hit to my overall iLvL so I can get my accuracy up?

You accuracy needs depend on the content you're doing. I believe 699 accuracy is enough for all content right now.
