So with samurai and red mage coming how reasonable would charging gil to level those dps through content as a tank be? Is there any rules against that specifically is what I'm asking because if not I dusting off my heavy armor for stormblood.

I find it perfectly reasonable to do this.

As long as OP does not RMT and just charges Gil, that's nothing wrong. If someone willing to give Gil for hiring a Tank, better for the tank.
