Stormblood - New Race? Yes? No?

Hey guys!

I wanted to sum up a topic which was going on forums last year, before HW came out. Since there was some hot stuff going on about the next race.
As you know there was some "F.A.T.E. in Tokyo" on going where they presented some of the races they are thinking to implent. That is including the Au Ra, which we got, the Viera and some other "beasty" races.

My question overall - would you still like to see Viera's in 4.0 or not at all?

Please keep in mind that SE is working pretty much with the humanoid sceleton, it makes pretty easier to rework the skins, outfits and gear which we are using for current races. I know adding some bunny ears and a rabbit tail doesnt make huge difference to Miqo'te, but what actually counts in the end, is mostlikely the animation of the race. How the character is running, how the emotes look like, the skins and the gameplay (i.e. battle) most likely.

Vieras would just end up looking like miqo'tes, just replace the ears and tail with bunny versions, which just ends up looking like a hyur midlander in a bunny suit. So no point even making them.

Dwarves however....every game needs dwarves. I'd say lalas are more like gnomes.

I would love it if the race would look like this! <3 They look perfect and adorable.
But if we dont get any new race, I would be more than happy with more customization for our current races (add all the options the ps3 hold back!).

I would not be opposed to Viera. I'd probably even make one. But I'd still prefer Gria.

No thank you.
They need to update the existing races than just new hairstyles.
More new faces, maybe new body types or an actual muscle/build slider (than just some muscle definition slider), body features like tattoos, body hair and body scales for Au Ra, make the horns separate from the face types etc.

A new race would just mean more work for the devs.
