Hair Colour palette

While there could always be more options, "washed out" colors actually fit in with the game's color scheme. Everyone has different tastes, but some colors are over-saturated and look out of place in the environment. They're starkly different than everything else, and having more "washed out" colors is more fitting for everything else present in the game. I honestly think too many options would allow players to be an eyesore. Final Fantasy games have usually been "pretty", maybe the limitations are to maintain that.

Like, I don't want neon hairs (ok yes I do, but I know it wouldn't fit with the game so w/e), but it would be nice if some of the brighter hair colors could be as saturated as the darker hair colors.

I'm aware of the game's aesthetic but





outside of Coerthas, this game's color scheme is not all washed out and desaturated.
Hell, they don't have to change the base light colors that much, they would probably just need to fix the how they're all flat colors with no highlights or shadows to make them look as deep as the darker colors.

Only issue I really have is that I wish some of the highlight colors were a bit brighter, like the main hair colors.

I would like it if there were more light colors that were less saturated but not grey at the same time. My character always had light orange or peach colored hair but with some hairstyles it looked like neon peach so I had to change it. I wanted a light orange that looks natural and not radioactive. But different hairstyles handle the colors differently unfortunately. I also wished that the highlight colors were also available in less saturated. Most are way too bright.

exactly this i want a brighter red i wanted to change yesterday but the red is terrible now the highlight red is a nice colour ofc is no use if you want full red hair and also as other people have said a lot of colours are washed out i only currently use pink with white highlights or just pure purple and i just think with a better colour palette there could be so much more variety

little weird tidbit but for Elezens you cant choose Red or Blue hair colors( only these darker versions of Red and Blue) the 2 hair colors appear on highlights and i can choose them both on a Hyur character but certain hair colors are missing on Elezens

I don't know about the males, but the females actually have the full color palette with the sky blue swatch set that other races don't have. It'd be weird if the males were missing those colors. ._.

I would like better blondes and browns personally. There's only 2 nice blonde colors before it goes straight to crayola yellow or tinted with orange undertones.

Male Elezens have a darker uglier shade of Blue compared to the shade of Blue on other races
