Hair Colour palette

i would seriously love a new hair colour palette i know it doesnt look like we will be getting new character customisation options but a new colour palette would be awesome the one now is just so lackluster ideally i just want some vivid colours or be able to make are own like a rgb scale thing to make are own colours now i have no idea how much work would need to go into this to make it happen or what it takes but surely it cant be to hard to make? any thoughts on this?

Like, I don't want neon hairs (ok yes I do, but I know it wouldn't fit with the game so w/e), but it would be nice if some of the brighter hair colors could be as saturated as the darker hair colors. 'Cause right now the lighter options are all pretty much white or grey tinted slightly red, yellow, or blue or whatever which makes all the light colors look the same in some lightings.

I'll pretty much take any expansion of character customization options they'll give us, as long as they don't change it to a slider system because once sliders exist for everything I'll never be happy with my character again.

Yeah, compared to your hair colors, the darker shades are far more saturated and vibrant in most lighting.
Example: http://imgur.com/a/Fb6Ip The lightest and darkest of the "saturated" rows. Most of the light colors look like white with subtly different shadows. The pinks seem to be a smidge stronger, but still look washed out compared to their darker versions. Contrasting the lighter colors, the darker colors (ok the greens are a tad similar) look like very different hues. Not to mention, they have the boon of strong gloss and deeper shadows that the lighter hairs are missing.


But of course, different eyes will see different things. I've tried both hair colors on my character, hoping for a bright and colorful look and found them to be washed out.

Ok but really tho.
This has been bothering me since ARR launched.

Why are some races missing the sky blue swatch set???!

Like it even causes problem with the highlight pallet (that is still completely different, why not give us those for our main hair too, SE?) since even it doesn't have the sky blue swatch set! So people using that set can't make subtle highlights for their character! D:

While there could always be more options, "washed out" colors actually fit in with the game's color scheme. Everyone has different tastes, but some colors are over-saturated and look out of place in the environment. They're starkly different than everything else, and having more "washed out" colors is more fitting for everything else present in the game. I honestly think too many options would allow players to be an eyesore. Final Fantasy games have usually been "pretty", maybe the limitations are to maintain that.
