    To be honest, i thought a dating sim would have been great for this valentines event if they had just expanded on it and included more npcs.

    But that would mean they would have had to put actual work into a seasonal event which they haven't done in about 4 or 5 events now

    Don't forget the JP april fools from last year, which is basically an otomege with Aymeric, the knights twelve and so on.

    * The sad thing is that FFXIV turned RDM into a turret, and people think that's what it's supposed to be. It's supposed to combine sword and magic into something more, not spend the bulk of gameplay spamming spells and jump into melee for only 3 GCDs before scurrying back to the back line like good little casters.
