Mini Game Idea: Dating Sim

Considering how little use our Toy Chest gets in the inn to begin with, wouldn't it be neat to give us a Dating Sim mini-game? It could be a simple dinner date, not unlike a certain cutscene in the 3.x series. We'd have a variety of NPCs we could chat with in different scenarios/situations. The goals wouldn't necessarily need to be romantic. Maybe you just want to bro-it-up. But it could be a neat way to learn some minor, inconsequential details about each NPC (fave food, what games they like to play, a big fear, etc). It could be a nice tie-in to the short stories we get on the Lodestone.

But that would mean they would have had to put actual work into a seasonal event which they haven't done in about 4 or 5 events now

Don't forget the JP april fools from last year, which is basically an otomege with Aymeric, the knights twelve and so on.
