Let's be real. They weren't whining that they can't obtain it. Anyone can go back and unsync Coil now. They were complaining that they couldn't have it faster.

They complained before unsync was a thing. Frankly, since they added unsynced mode at HW, there is a clear answer to people who want the story "You'll have it in two years".

They won't ignore casuals whining because they're a majority into the game.

In the long run, that's not the solution. By doing this over and over, they'll just discourage all the players that try to push the skill pool higher.
The more you do easy content, the easier your next content will need to be.
