
I know right?! I have no monk gear, so it will be interesting to get gear all over again.Hmm... timed attacks. That used to be a huge JRPG staple back in the day. You would press a button at the right time (usually a visual cue) during a weaponskill to get a huge boost to damage. Super Mario RPG and Legend of Dragoon (maybe Mother 3?) comes to mind. So if Samurai feels slower, it's mainly because it's leaving weaponskills open for timed attacks. If you practice your timing you can actually maximize it's DPS potential. It's punishing if you can't master it, but it's not as painful as losing Blood of the Dragon or Greased Lightning mid rotation.
In that case, bring it on!
