What I like about these few "locked out" features is that they make the game experience just that much more enjoyable and immersive - I do love wandering around LB with all their wooden houses, and through Mist's beach houses. I do like the paissa/chocobo/whatever skins, because they're rare enough that they don't go beyond being an amusing change in scenery.

Well I think completely different the areas look bland with every single house looking exactly the same. Same reason as to why I never changed to moghouse skin when they first came out everyone had one. The skins are also only rare as they are locked behind FC houses and the ones that are available are expensive on the market. So yes I think players that don't have access to the FC skins should have a cheaper way of making their house unique.

Please open two or more new wards in the old zones, that would definitely stop a lot of the rush to doman housing.

Agree, plus, some of us might not like the new zone (I would glady have a mansion for our FC in the Goblet or the Myst instead)

if you want housing just play on low pop server like Mateus, you still queue for dungeons and what not in the same data center, and you get super cheap housing and tons available.

The day SE offers a free transfert and won't make us loose all our gear and money ^^

Except you've still got the chocobo, moogle, paissa, etc global housing skins that are going to crop up in the new area too. I don't think unlocking region requirements will cause much if any relief for the stampede to get a house in the new zone, but I'd like to see it done just for more variety available to everyone.

Exactly. Mist/Lavender Beds/Goblet exclusive outdoor fixtures made sense when each region was unique. Now with Moogle/Merchant houses, the different wards have lost their sense of individuality. There is no longer any reason to keep the original styles region locked.
