Houses for almost everyone!!

I want to know, it's a good idea if we bound the house to the account and let people only have one?
Maybe this will make easier for new people and people that don't have a lot of time to play to get a house.

Should have been done at the start but will likely never happen now as people who have more than one would loose them, then would cry and say it's unfair, oh the irony, that they lost their additional houses.

One per server would be more reasonable though.

might be a good idea I mean pretty bad when people you know are going how they got a house plus 1 or 2 different apartments not that those matter but still you really need all that?

Or got those who go hey I own 3-4 different houses cause I got alts who each own one but I rarely play them so they sit empty most of the time.

They need to limit people like them to one per account

I agree they need to limit housing to at least one per server if not account, but at the same time they need to make it shareable for all characters on that account/server, since you can't add your alts to your friendlist. This has been brought up repeatedly however, so I don't have much hope it will ever change.

I have been playing 9 months and bought a small about 5 months ago. I had been looking for a medium for a while and finally found 2 reclaimed empty med lots in Lava Beds among all the housing districts and nabbed one. I was afraid the whole time that someone would take while I was figuring out how to dump my small and get ready for the med. Ridiculous. What a poor housing plan they did in this game. They should limit housing to 1 per account with the ability to add alts. Alts should be able to share everything anyway. Fail housing/alt system is fail.

No. That just makes an already restrictive system worse. Fixes need to actually make a system better, not more restrictive.

I agree, one house per FFXIV account is ridiculous but one house per server is fine.
There's a person on my server who has three alts, all the same name but with different apostrophe placements and each alt owns a house. Really unfair to those who don't own a house and would really like to.

They are never fixing this system. It is a good example that this is still the company that released 1.0.

I think it should be two houses per server per account; one personal house shared (or at least shareable) by all characters on that account that are also on that server, and one FC house as long as the FC has at least the number of members needed to create an FC to begin with. That at least would be less restrictive than the one house per account thing while at the same time not giving players free reign to buy up multiple houses per server to turn around and sell.
