Trouble displaying housing furniture

Ok so basically, some of the furniture is not rendered until I walk right up to it. Is there anything I can do on my end to force the game to display more stuff on screen? I'm only having this problem in one house where I think I may have put too many items on the first floor.

Edit: I think I've narrowed it down to the new painting furniture, apparently there is such as thing as too many.
