POTD related - Possible hinted add version?

To the dev team and community I ask this:

After doing a lot of POTD, we have killed quite a few Lost Goblins and Expeditionary adventurers.

Why can't we save them and get them out?

To me this is a hint of future rescue missions as an expanded content or I am reading way to much into it.

The Dead should remain Dead, this also goes for PotD. Those are Corpses influenced by someone as you go deeper into the Palace of the Dead.

Simply most of the Persons you encounter died for a good/bad Reason, reviving them would do no good to the living World, I suppose...

Yeah, as Mwynn pointed, those "adventurers" you encounter are all dead.

In fact, they're all NPCs you've possibly encountered (depending on city-state start location and which jobs you've done) at various points in the story that met their demise.

Thanks for clarifying. The titles of them have always bugged the hell out of me while playing through POTD.
