From Legacy to the Dev Team

I am also a legacy player and also wanted to commend the whole devteam for all the great experiences I have had since July 7th 2011 when I made my account and ventured into Eorzea for the first time
I started on the Saronia server, which later became Sargatanas. Moved to Balmung on ARR launch, and moved again to Odin where I have been ever since and love it there ^^

When I saw Yoshida and his team came onboard to try save the current game, and heard their ideas for the future, I knew I would be a fool to miss out on the development.
And I was correct, as the End of the World event, is something I have not experienced in any MMORPG ever. XIV1.0 had its many flaws, but it had so much heart and soul too

Looking forward for many more years

PS. Any chance we can get the Miqo'tes Voice nr 1 from 1.0 back? PLEAAAASE it was the absolute best and I miss it greatly

I have been here since march 2011...i have seen good and bad. I do miss version 1 but only the good things and there where a few.

I was at the end with some good people and those are memories i will always have. I wear my mark with pride.

Its nice to see some old names in here ^O^ we where all there at the end.

I hope the game continues on for a long time even if its not the game i had hoped i still think the end of V1 was amazing and i love the main story characters because they where there also.

I suggest players after 1.0 find vids of the CS and the game play from 1.0.

:\ Really wish I had bought FFXIV 1.0, especially since hindsight shows how much better it got onward. Unfortunately, 1.0 was one of those games I knew I wasn't going to like, being everything I had hated seeing in just FFXI alone. Cannot thank Yoshida and the rest of the team enough for saving FFXIV.
