I too have fond memories of Final Fantasy XIV.


Although they stem from 1.x to around 2.4.


The main story quests from 2.4+ are really good though, they are why I'm still around.

While I may be critical of some of the decisions they have made, make and will make in future, I respect the work that Yoshida and his team have done and the things they have accomplished.

I may not always like every decision you make, but often you prove me wrong about disliking a new addition,
and even when you didnt, the game is in an amazing state that can soothe me even over the things I disike.

Especially as one of those who know where you started at and took the journey along with you,
it's amazing to see where we ended up so far and where we will be going in the future

I would like to thank the development teams, both the original team and the current team, for making a game that, despite its flaws, had such obvious potential beyond just the Final Fantasy name that it invoked the desire to see it succeed.
