To be fair, glamour is really kinda' an end game for a good majority of the players of this game. They really care about their character and how it looks because, with the way this game is, character looks and glamour are unfortunately some of the only lasting content that people don't get bored with. New areas are expected with an expansion, reworked actions I won't defend 'cause they shot themselves in the foot with how much bloat there is and it's basically going to be a copy/paste of the 2.0/3.0 patch cycle. People were hoping for something a bit more concrete than content they will blow through and get bored with after grinding it for 239187259812 hours. I can see both sides of the argument.

Most answers were no, because of the typical "stability" or "lol server." The only maybe in there was the butt slider, which frankly, he seems like he was joking and I have a 99% feeling he will come back and say no anyways. Everything else was crap about mog station stuff, and they joked about how costly it would be to make and if we promised to purchase it, they would do it. Of course the crowd cheered and they basically confirmed it, so more money grab yet for stuff that really matters to the larger playerbase, server issues and stability continue to be a meme since 2013. Really wish people would wake up and see where their money is going and how this is really becoming a joke.

To anyone who didn't see the live letter or who wasn't paying attention, the hairstyles, hempen sets, and butt slider stuff got addressed by Yoshida.

Hairstyles: They plan on making SOME hairstyles race unlocked, and SOME of them remaining unique to that respective race.

Hempen sets: In order to make this happen, they would need to make the clothing ID and skin ID to not be so different and rather, indifferent, so it can happen.

Butt slider: He will talk to the graphics team about this and see what can be done, but says it in a very joking manner. (so, it may actually happen)

Customization (more face options): Character data is sent constantly back and forth between the game and the servers (JSON), which deals with packets. If they added more customization, it would increase packet size, causing stress on characters and the game.

Joking manner means no. Mean reason why is simple that's alot of work they would have to do to make the gear fit right on a character. They don't have time for that just for a butt slider.

I mean if you're the type who doesn't like any of that kind of content, then... I really question why you've stayed this long.

I dont know why you act so negativ about esthetics and looks in GAME so much. Of course I do not mind having more zones, nice looking dungeons and all. But why can we not have both of those? I mean, we pay a subscription every month. We buy from the cash shop our fantasias and mounts. We even pay lots of money for expansions and their Collectors Edition.

And just 1 thing to add to new areas and such. In the end you tend to never visit a map after doing the quests there. You dont even do Dungeons if you do not have to gain anything from them. But your character, you look at it 90% of the time. In cutscenes, in fight, while you do just screenshots or nothing. It is also annoying to see all the time a Doppelganger running around who looks just like you. Cause you have only 4 preset faces. Neat, right?
