I would also really like to see them put Shogun in as a tank. I was really looking forward to Samurai being a tank and the announcement killed a lot of my excitement for Stormblood.

I really like the aesthetics of Japanese-style jobs, and since both Ninja and Samurai are now DPS, it doesn't seem like there are any options left for a tank. I have heard that they don't want to add many Japanese-style jobs, so this means tanks will probably never get one, even if we do eventually get a new job.

Anyway, I get that some people don't care, but I want to signal my interest in this as well. Maybe give them a katana and an iron war fan (tessen). That could be fun.
