I dont want to see an example of Wow as it is now in your comparison. Give me the subscriptions of Wow when it was six months old, and the subscriptions of FFXIV as it is today.

Its more of a problem in any MMO to have the name you really want. The surnames in FFXIV were intended for this reason, and for the reason that this game is more RP-Oriented, thus granting everyone the option to choose the name they want.
Well is alot more succesfull then this game. Even if rift is a wow clone the fact they have more subcribers show there doing way better then this game anyway.
