Suggestion Achievement points.

Like can we actually get a use for these? Like maybe 1k for a fantasia or something? They have no use atm. more ideas welcome.

Slightly more serious but on the same vein, I would be cautious with anything revolving around achievement points being spent because earning them is a limited resource that is only occasionally added to. Would probably create many situations where people get really upset. I just mean spending vs reaching to, like don't make them consumable.

How could you just add fantasia!?! I spent them all on golden sparkle tier five dye already!

Why aren't you adding more achievements? I need more fantasia! Add more!

I think if they wanted to do something with them, in honesty, achievement rewards for achievement points is probably the best way to get the least amount of hate. But SE would be expected to make rewards at an interval then, also do Legacy achievements count?

I think they've mentioned wanting to create a new Veteran Reward System at some point. If there was a Veteran Reward's Shop in-game that you could spend achievement points on, that could work. You actually have to play for those rewards then.

I can't recall if World of Warcraft does something similar. Maybe it was for mounts or pets but it was the same idea, which I liked so I'd support this idea.

Achievement points are a metric of activity just like levels or chocobo ranks. I don't think it would make sense to spend them because they are not a type of currency. However meta-achievements could work. For example, reach 5k achievement points to get a title. Reach 7k for a mount and 9k for fantasia. Reach 10k for a grand 2-seater mount and a classic FF glamour.

Yeah my original idea was a suggestion, but yeah...anything to actually make them matter I suppose? Played a few games where achievement points met with milestones and such.
