Overall I've got a pretty negative view of Stormblood.

Heavensward Announcements:

+ OMG tank, healer, and dps NEW JOBS!
+ OMG FLOATING CONTINENT
+ OMG WARRING TRIAD?!

Stormblood Announcements:
+ OMG RED MAGE
? OMG HOUSING TRANSFER... wait there's a lot not answered here.
? OMG BATTLE CHANGES... to be announced later?
- OMG... another DPS? Like, another one?
- OMG... wait, NO tanks or heals? With these queues??
- OMG... that's seriously what the Spiderman shirt suggested? Was that supposed to be Samurai Spiderman, the thing that doesn't even exist in the USA or UK? How in the world was that not Blue Mage?
- OMG... Lakshmi?! The HEALING summon is a primal?
- OMG... No mention of Asura or Yojimbo on a Japanese-style island?

Overall... really disappointed in all of this.

It's just the first day so far :x

Like: Everything Othard Not a big fan of Ala Mhigo and finding out that the story will only half focus on that and instead half focus on the part I was always the most hyped for (Azim Steppe, Doma, etc.)..was amazing^^
Also, furniture limit doubled. And the fareastern housing area. Those 2 things literally are enough to keep me happy for the next few years (assuming I manage to actually get a house there xD).
That said, I also like pretty much everything else. Samurai is actually gonna look nice and be playable for me (I hate tanks), the raid is already better set up than Alexander ever was, swimming is a thing (and OMG underwater temple thingy in a bubble!), the primals look promising and the areas are exactly as I imagined them and so beautiful and detailed looking (everything Heavensward was not..). I can literally not think of a single thing they could do at this point to mess this up for me, while the entirety of HW to me was one long drag, everyday convincing myself that "I'M HAVING FUN" even when I clearly wasn't, because the story, the raid, the areas and everything were 100% not my thing.

Well, maybe if they break Blackmage..

Hate: Nothing yet. Well, at least nothing regarding FFXIV. I have plenty of gripes with the stream, but that's another topic ^^°

I'm very excited for all of it and the biggest problem I see people trying to complain about are the queue times. I really don't think it's going to be that bad. Not everyone is going to jump on the red mage/samurai bandwagon. Those who usually heal/tank love it and continue to do it full time. Sam/RMG can be leveled in PoTD. I'm so Flippin excited to swim tho. So. Flippin. Excited.

Overall, I am pretty disappointed.

First the positives:
RDM looks really cool
Looks to have a LOT of new areas
The new cities/residential area looks amazing

Now the negatives:
No healers or tanks
No interest in SAM at all
No new race
No word on new character customization options for the existing races
No information on these supposed fabulous new battle changes
Housing transfer to the new zone probably only applies to FC housing
Overall, it's feeling like it will be the same thing we've always had - alternating between 8-man and 24-man raids, and tome grinding for gear that lasts 3 months
