Well unless they fixed the healer jobs already in there, yeah good luck with your Ques DPS >.> Because currently we have white mage which is really good, Scholar which is broken since it is shared with summoner so they can't really buff any of the spells or nerf it, and Astro which is a lesser white mage with cards. Not much diversity there soooooo......yeah!


also...there is no new tank or healer class >.>..<.<...and the ratio of DPS to those two are in the DPS favor...more so with the Red Mage and Samurai now! There is that too XD I am not overly bothered since I love both Red Mage and Samurai, it just doesn't seem really balanced.

It's not the same because its coming out during a time when people will want to level their main job to 70, and its not the only option to level. Not everyone will want to play the new jobs right away cause they want to level their old main jobs to 70.

Good point that's one plus to the whole scenario.

A little sad as a healer to see I'm stuck with no new gameplay to discover and enjoy for the next 2 years :/

I don't think it will be as bad as when nin came out. As this time we have Palace of the Dead so full dps party.

Well... there should be a small window for those that currently main dps to avoid the Duty finder crash, maybe a day or 2 before the full force of samurai and red mages hit lv60+. So yeah, if you have a main dps just go through as much of the Stormblood story till the dps wave catches up I suppose... >.<

Honestly, I'm fine with it. And since MNK is my main, all may saved accessories from 50-60 will not be in vain, and some of my glamours will be useful. I'm looking at doing storymode with SAM, and since I want to do raids this time around it'll be for the best since I get the feeling MNK is going to be sidelined again.

DPS Duty Finder queues for dungeons and trials are going to blow for a while, since there has to be story progression to get to endgame. It's a price to pay, and there will be tank scalpers out there charging for fast queues.

Palace of the Dead and Fates will be our best means for leveling, and I'm fine with it since I have yet to do it.

I love sam, i was one in xi and have been looking forward to having one since 2.0 relaunch. Im also well aware of the queue time issues and im not too concerned about it, heres why. At first yes we will see long ass queue times for dps, was the same for nin and same for when HW first came out,(DPS in need.) However, i believe that this is a healthy move for the long term of this game. I currently main drg/pld so i will still be lvlin my pld with all those sam/rdm out there. I just cant wait to see what they can do. Ill be sure to open up the PF for all you sam/rdm mains out there, just please do the same for me when i want to lvl up sam.

There were full on ninja fate parties back when NIN came out. Even with queue time being a little long, I still capped NIN in 3 days straight. And that was without other options like PoTD. On top of that you get Story XP if you go through it on RDM or SAM. It's really not that big of a deal with Main Tanks and Healers queueing up.

The problem is not that. How many healers and tanks will stop being tanks and healer to become DPS? That's the real problem. The number of tanks and healers will drastically descent by adding 2 popular classes both as DPS. How will YOshi-P compensate this for tanks and healers? What they will give us?
