    For level 70 Aquapolis, please add 3 doors to rooms 1-3

    Basically what title says.

    When running Aquapolis, it can be quite disheartening to not reach even room 4 after many runs. I know that Aquapolis is just a bonus round and just entering is a plus, but I'd like it if there was a better chance at running into at least room 4.

    What I'm thinking is if the first 3 rooms had 3 doors. 1 win like normal. 1 lose like normal. And the new one would be a "try again" type door. It lets you progress to the next room, but the next room has no treasure chest or special mobs. So you are able to reach room 2, have to kill the monsters and gain nothing but you get a chance at reaching room 3.

    If that's too OP, maybe just the first 2 rooms or just the first.

    What's everyone's opinion on this? Also anyone else got any ideas that level 70 Aquapolis should have to improve on what we already have?

    I'd rather get kicked out and start the next map than have an empty room.

    edit: Now objectives to complete during a room to heighten the chance of the lit up door appearing would be cool.

    This is made to be the RNG dungeon, can't expect to get things making it more easy

    Not that I really see why it needs to be made easier to get to door 4. The whole design is that its supposed to be fun rng.

    They could make it a bit more interesting tho. the goblins that drop in could drop hints. Maybe something like if you kill a particular mob first in room x, the door will light up. or door 5 is the same as the way you went on door 1

    They should basically just increase or change the goblins loots. For their rate of apparition, it's not that crazy.

    Not how Aquapolis works! There is no 'correct' door.

    Just because the door you picked didn't open doesn't mean the other would have.


    The doors are a three roll system. You click a door, first roll with above a certain value means it will open. If you fail this the metal door drops and proceed second roll, once again a win condition that if you reach it opens. If another fail third check with the red lights. Third roll, same thing with a win condition to get the rainbow and open door.

    The second door is a placebo effect to just let you feel you could have made a 'right' choice. In reality this dungeon could have 1 door each and the effects would be the same. Nothing changes without adjusting the odds regardless of # doors.

    Edit: Because of stupid baseless limitations on word count.

    So many people don't seem to understand that it doesn't matter which door you choose unless there is a glowing door (which is just a 100% roll guarrantee). There could be just one door and the results would be the same. The rng is whether or not the door opens - not which door opens.

    The data mining that was done on the maps (from reddit) pretty much proved this. Also it is really the only logical way to implement it (uses the least resources).

    I've been in parties with all sorts of arguments or weird methods on how to choose a door - it doesn't matter!

    My EB partner went through 2 Aquapolis maps and got 14 rainbows and all the way to the 7th floor on each.

    Yes but you could add in higher chances to progress past the first few doors. Where there are 2 win states for the final check and 1 lose state. But 1 of the win states is a "try again" version where the next room has no rewards. Having a 66% chance of progressing to at least the 2nd room would help a lot since there are some days where it's constantly get in, fail first door, repeat. % to reach try again taken away from losing and not from winning so winning still has the same odds.
