So though FFXIV I've made friend from all around the world. Some of them became very close to me and met them in real life (Since I travel a lot)

I've heard some lovely stories about people meeting their significant other through this game ❤️

I got to learn different words from different languages (Italian, French, Arabic, Dutch) just to name a few.

It really surprises me when people say it is hard to socialize in this game and make friends.

I've met someone in game who lived 20 minutes away from me and we became very close. I don't have any brothers, he was like a brother heaven forgot to give me.
And on the other hand I met someone who ended up stalking me in real life! /panic

That's a very nice/creepy (Jesus, the stalker dude) experience! I envy you for being able to travel and meet them irl. I wish I could have that freedom.

I would love to visit my friends. They became really close to me, supporting me and helping me whenever they could. I also have met someone very important, though she's living in Florida, US. I'm from Argentina. Someday it will happen! thenwellgetmarriedandstuff

I see one of the ppl almost every day. It's my professor ^^
Apart from that, I met someone about a year ago. We got along super well and I ended up joining his and his friends' FC. Since then a handful of us have been on TeamSpeak almost every day and if not we write via WhatsApp. They have become close friends to me. We even met in irl and had an awesome weekend. We're gonna meet at the fan festival this weekend again. I'm sooo looking forward to that
