    Please make fate leveling viable again in Stormblood

    Although I enjoy palace of the dead and dungeons... I really miss fate leveling. I think potd along with the low exp awarded for heavenwards fates has made fates as leveling tools really fall out of favor outside of a few zones. Fate leveling back in the day was pretty op, I know. And I'm not saying to go back to that... but if the alternative is the no mans zone that heavenward areas are now, I'd take that again instead. Especially wth the awesome choco change made last patch I wold love to kick back for some fate grinding again!

    After the Yokai event, it might be hard for a chunk of the player base to even think about a FATE xD

    And even if they do, you would hear the groaning from here. ^^

    No more fate elveling

    Sorry but after Yokai, it semi killed it. Also I've found out as more people fate grind the less they know their job. Seems basics just goes out the window.

    Yeah and the first 50 floors of potd really helps someone learn their class, lol. It's so much NOT like regular instances it's rediculous. Running floors, single pulling mobs, possibly without heals and tanks. Probably spamming one attack not needing to use cd's, aggro managment isnt even considered. You get the point.

    PoD I see it more like team building skill, I don't find XP from PoD to be worth it. I's nice people want to perhaps use it to build Kianna weps, farm tomes, and test their solo skills, other than that and soloing it for title not worth it. Everyone has a style it's how you use it. Fates on the other hand, if your farming for old relics such atmas, by all means. To depend on them however... yeah nice one. Restrict fates or make them worth while? Special gear perhaps like the Odin item drops but gives us a reason to farm them. I can agree to something along those lines, yet don't nerf them make it an actual grind. As for the first 50 floors of PoD ? should be a lot harder. You can be under gear and that wouldn't matter being the stats are based on something else. I think your missing the point of PoD. It's a nice glimpse at higher actions, over all is a way for people to enjoy some competition as well as get some nice weps. Take into consideration, that most are to lazy to farm tomes, do raids, or focus on relics. Kiana weps are 255 so somewhat decent for current content. Maybe they will go further? who knows next step 99/99 and maybe make it a 270-265? PoD is a nice way to give the cup cake generation an easy weapon in my opinion without having to depend too much on others. As a relic holder I just use it for tome farming and achievements. What do fates really give you? Run around, depending quest some items, and perhaps a way to kill time between queues. By the way now you can have choco out while waiting so most can be solo.

    I feel like the world feels dead now. I attempted to do some dates in costa last night. There were 2 ppl in the zone. It was depressing. There used to be 30+ people there running around all the time.

    I'm not saying to make dates the only way to level. Or even the best way. I'm saying they seem to struggle with balancing the leveling options. Fates, potd, and dungeons should all be balanced very close to each other. In heavensward they were not. Then they tried the relic gimmick to get people back into fates and it helped for a bit but not with any lasting effect. They should have also buffed the exp more. Like it takes what? 3 gubals to go 59 to 60? Each run takes like 20 minutes. 20 minutes times 3 is an hour. An hour of fates in hinterlands gives about 1 mil exp. And you need 3.8mil exp to go 59 to 60. So fates take more than 3 times as long at this level. That is a big gap. I'm ok with dungeons being faster in general. But the gap should be like time and a half. Not triple the time.

    I wouldn't like to see that option. Yokai as other's have stated put a very bad taste into many ppl's mouth but for me that isn't the reason. The reason why I wouldn't want to have fates mandatory again is that a) grinded thousands of these for the old relic, b) thousands of them to level from 40-50 (before they increased exp) and that on multiple classes, c) did hundreds if not more of them for leveling all the way to 60 (before they buffed the HW areas), d) again we did it for beast tribes/new relics/gc seals (before they even buffed these). I am tired of it. Now I am not saying potd is much better, haven't level'd a lot in there, but at least it's different compared to fates from 2.0-3.x, I don't need another fate train in 4.0 sry.

    Edit: Nearly forgot the old times... fate train from lvl 34-42/45 anyone? :/

    I admit I have really enjoyed these, they are fun, especially when you have a large group of people doing them. At this point I mostly solo them, but I've run into some really nasty ones at this level that practically took a raid team to beat.
