^ This. Plus I think with SCH, the fairy should be able to take care of healing even while waiting for cooldowns to come back up.
Also off topic a bit: Aww Miste, you changed your signature xD I always adored the other one.
Aww sowwy! I took this snap recently and I really love it! So I decided to change it for a bit for something new. The old one might come back sometime!
If you'd like to have the image here you go to make amends! /bow

Yeah if you are comfortable with it the suggestion of casting Protect then quickly changing it back to Cleric works also.
This is also what I do. Seems like common sense to me. I dont see a reason not to use protect. I know its not much but the less I have the heal the happier I am to DPS more!
Except you cannot dps "more". With or without protect you tank will still need the exact same number of heals, so protect is entirely obsolete at low level
sch doesn't need to heal at all as eos covers all required healing, and ast ED serves as a short-CD bene, that is always off CD by the time the tank needs a heal.
I take cleric first slot, blizz II second, protect third
I don't agree with them kicking you, but I am of the opinion that Protect should have a higher cross-class priority than Cleric Stance. I understand that lower level dungeons don't really require as much healing as later dungeons, but to not protect your party as a healer is just bad form.
Protect is a necessary form of mitigation that shouldn't be ignored. Why build a bad habit early when you can avoid it?
It's not a bad habit. Protect is only.. 10% mitigation? In a leveling dungeon, 10% extra damage by enemies isn't alot and you can get the tank almost full HP with one heal. Full if you are AST. So it serves no purpose to have 5-10% mitigation over all of your damage added to the dungeon.I don't agree with them kicking you, but I am of the opinion that Protect should have a higher cross-class priority than Cleric Stance. That's a fine mentality for experienced players to have. However, think what you're teaching new players? They see this and then assume that 10% mitigation isn't all that much as they make their way to level 60 for the first time. Then they carry this mentality through extremes and raids, all the while the 'experienced' players are wondering why all these sprouts have so many bad habits. It's not a bad habit. This is the same reason why there are so many DRKs and WARs without provoke in end-game content. It all starts with 'experienced' players show-boating how unnecessary certain skills are at lower level dungeons. Neglecting the fact that low level dungeons are designed to be easy in order to teach new players how to use their skills.
That's some very slippery sloap you got there. You're arguing a player optimising their cross-class skill selection will lead to players ignoring their essential cross-class skills...This is the same reason why there are so many DRKs and WARs without provoke in end-game content.
