About possible new races

New playable race: Vieras

I've seen that many people are asking for Vieras as a new playable race. Me too, but PLEASE: make that race the "counterpart" of the Au Ra.

All races (except the Hyur) have their counterparts: Elezen and Lalafell (the first taller, the last smaller, both with spiky ears), Miqo'te and Roegadyn (both have "animal details" and in 1.0 Miqo'te were only female and Roegadyn only males... I think, I've never played 1.0).

What I mean? Well, something I didn't like about the Au Ra is the difference between males and females: males are tall and adult, but females are smaller and younger than males. I would like to see the Viera race with that same gender difference, but in backwards: Female Vieras tall and adult, and Male Vieras smaller and younger. As I said, a counterpart of the Au Ra race. It's the fair thing.

New NPC race: Yukes

And now, my suggestion of another race: the Yukes from the Crystal Chronicles series. ATTENTION!! I'm not suggesting them as a playable race, I suggest them as a NPC race (like the Ascian or the Pajdal)... Maybe as a new Beast tribe, more civilized of course, like the Moogles.

Another new playable race: Pajdal

Besides the previous two suggestions for new races, I suggest another race which is already in the game: Pajdal. They are different to the others, they look like teenagers, and some of SE previous games were protagonized by teens: Zidane (IX), Luneth (III), Sora (KH), of the ones from World, (and no, Miqo'te doesn't look like teens, maybe tweens).

I know, I know. The lore says Pajdal are a rare race, so we can't born as Pajdal. That's why I ask this race as an opcional race, exclusive only via Fantasia, the magical bottle which can turn you into other race. So we are not originally Pajdal in the lore, but we can turn into one.

SE have already shot down the idea of viera appearing in FFXIV ages ago - because they're considered to be too similar to the miqo'te in that they're "humans with animal parts" and hence Yoshi wants each race to at least have some uniqueness to them. Padjal also cannot be a playable race as lore wise they're actually born from hyur exclusively and are very rare - they're the elementals proxies in Gridania's government and thus simply cannot spend time gallivanting around Eorzea adventuring, as they're bound to the will of the forest and Gridania.

Personally, I think we have enough playable races as is, and would prefer SE to spend time instead giving more options to the ones we already have by expanding character creation options such as new hairstyles and facial features for the existing races.
