    Cutscene dialogue automatically progressing

I recently got back into the game after a long hiatus, and the game prompted me to set some option that would allow cutscenes to advance automatically without you pressing anything, given a certain period of time. I tried it out and immediately decided that I didn't like it, but I cannot for the life of me find where that option is in-game. All I want to do is change that one single option back, and it's proving far more difficult than it should be. I've scoured through System Configuration and Character Configuration many times now, and I'm not finding anything about this.

It disappoints me that I have to come to the forums to ask about something like this. Maybe the answer is staring at me right in the face, but I should be able to find this option somewhere, and the so-called Support Desk should be able to give me the answer if I can't find it, not just send me a copy/pasted message that does absolutely nothing to address my specific issue. This shouldn't be that hard.

In summary, all I want is to make it so that during cutscenes, I can walk away (IRL), come back, and find that it's still on the same dialogue bubble that it was before. That's it. I don't want it to skip through dialogue in cutscenes without me pressing anything.

A text auto-advance function has been added for cutscenes.

Pressing the space bar (△) during a cutscene will toggle text auto-advance on or off. An icon will be displayed indicating it is on.

The text advance speed can be adjusted using the following commands.
    Faster: Tab (Right directional button)
    Slower: Shift+Tab (Left directional button)
    * The Tab and Shift+Tab commands can be assigned to the Confirm/Cancel/Close All UI Components commands under the System tab in Keybind in the Main Menu. These assignments will take priority over any previous key configurations.

Thank you very much. I only wish the actual help system in this game could do anything to help fix such a simple issue. I guess rather than look through the options menus, I'm expected to remember to use Shift+Tab after seeing it pop up in a message window one time. Brilliant.

Well, shift-tab will slow but not stop it. If you want to turn it off, you should instead press space when such dialog is presented. Just once. Then it will stay off until you press space at such dialog again.
