Personally I recommended its a nice vacation, great atmosphere and can meet people from your server at times. I attended the Las Vegas 2016 and tickets were sold out in a matter of hours even with advance access. You can sometimes get merchandise before it hist the square store, example the Encyclopedia was sold out right away and wasn't available for a few months. Yes it's a lot of money, well worth the trip. Get a T-shirt made with your character name and server, chances are groupies will be around and feel free to talk them and exchange stories. If your new to Fan Fest let them know, chances are alot of new people are there. More importantly have fun.
