    Random BSOD when opening FFXIV launcher - Windows 10

    Sometimes when I open the launcher, before the game can check the version of the game, I get a random BSOD with the following:

    SYSTEM _SERVICE_EXCEPTION
    Netio.sys

    I have no idea what is happening because no changes were made to the system in the last months. My specs are:

    Windows 10 Home Single Language 64-bit
    Intel Core i7 4810MQ @ 2.80GHz
    16,0GB Dual-Channel DDR3
    Notebook W35xSS_370SS
    Intel HD Graphics 4600
    2047MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 860M

    Summoner Lv 90
    Turn off your or uninstall your LegendasDivx software. That software was probably set to default video player causes FFXIV video to play with that player. Or you have Kodi?

    I think this was a program I installed to automatically get subtitles for movies. I will uninstall it and come back tomorrow to say if it's better! Thank you!
