Reading the thread on the General Discussion forum got a spark going in my mind thinking of all the issues in Feast Seasons. Glaring issues too. I recently made a thread asking about Feast because I was interested but a few days ago I lost all interest in season 3 but that's not the point of the thread.
Alt Characters Getting Rewards For Season 4:
I never even thought of or knew about this issue until reading on the General Discussion forums. When I think of it now, this IS an issue and it needs to be addressed. Whats the point of having separate seasons if the same people on alts are going to fill the leaderboards? They shouldn't be there. They are taking spots from people who aren't alts and want to get top 100. This needs to be nipped in the bud.
Solution:
Make all season rewards MogStation items that are received via item codes. Create 100 codes that will be given to the top 100 people by the Feast Quartermaster. Make the items account-bound(Or make the reward for 1 character but the effect account-bound). These people will will redeem their codes and done.
(Examples)
-Top 10 Feast Reward Pack
-Top 100 Feast Reward Pack
People who try to trade codes wont be able to trade because SE should keep track of who should own the items. So Johnny Rogers will be banned because he has rewards for top 100 yet none of his characters are there on the leaderboard. The seller will also be banned.
PvP Retirement:
This is a really bad issue. I feel certain that many players on the top 100 get their spot then retire from PvP. Making it very difficult for players to even get into matches, securing their spot on this list. If there are 100 people missing from PvP who are Platinum and Diamond, how would one go about fighting Platinums and Diamonds? I feel all of that is intentional by the players too by the way.
1. Get your spot.
2. Stop playing.
3. Newcomers get 1 hour queues.
4. Newcomers get discouraged.
5. New comers quit.
6. No one to take your spot.
7. Success!
It makes sense really. And it worked for me. Knowing 3.55 is right around the corner, I decided to quit season 3 because I was wasting my time. Queues take waaay to long to have such limited time. Then throw in bad players and trolls. You end up losing a match you waited a half an hour or more for and then lose your points. It seriously feels impossible. And I've been PvPing a bit now. As soon as I hit Silver rank, queues tanked.
Solution:
Add a degrading system. Simple. People who get up there on the top 100 should have to actually compete and stay fighting to hold their place instead of sitting around. That is fair. People who actually want to PvP would actually have a chance. Not PvPing? Your number degrades. So the person with 3,500 points the first week can't just quit.
Cheating:
Do I need to explain? People out there turning into manticores killing people getting wins. People running at impossible speeds. People going invincible for certain amounts of time(My entire BRD burst in my case. No shields either. It's like I missed them). And people wintrading. I look on the leaderboards and there are people with borderline 100% winrates with a low amount of matches compared to others. How is this allowed? For 3 seasons straight? I highly doubt there are teams legit getting 99% win rates for real..
Solution:
Take action SE? Get rid of these people. Look at the match records. If these people are winning against the same 4 people 100 times, obviously something is fishy. Take these people down, and listen to the community when they tell you players are running faster than mounts.
Feast Auto-Chat:
..... just change it please lol.
