can we have a option where we can give the house to someone?
I have a mansion but I barely go there.

Just make selling houses and transferring to larger houses possible problem solved. Also already have the option to give the house away click demolish. We don't need more monopoly on houses we need less of it.
Making them your roommate isnt an option? They would share all rights and stuff afaik, the house would just still be under your name (and only you could stop the demolish-timer)

it's all decorated, I dont want demolish. I just want give without losing nothing.
I just lost the interest in housing.

At this time your best bet is what Vidu said, unlock all the housing permissions for the person you wish to give it to. You'll still have to enter the house about once a month so it doesn't implode, but it won't get demolished. If you just don't want anything more to do with it then remove all the furniture you can, demolish it and let someone else purchase the plot. I don't foresee square making an option to hand over personal plots anytime soon.

You can take out the decorations, demolish, trade the build permit, have the new owner obtain the land and then make you a tenant so you can put the furniture back in. Very few items actually get permanently destroyed upon removal.

I do think they should embrace the idea of selling houses instead of banning it. I think the main issue people have with selling is, under current practice you essentially have to pay twice as much in order to actually acquire the property.
This is because the seller wants to make back the money they originally paid and maybe make a little profit, so they charge full price just to relinquish the land. Unfortunately for the buyer, they then also have to pay to purchase the plot, resulting in paying double the cost. So there is this perception that sellers are overcharging for housing but this is not the fault of the seller however.
If SE developed a system by which players can receive the gil paid from purchasing land, instead of paying the gil to what is essentially an NPC, I think you'd find players becoming less hostile about house selling. They could really make an interesting arm of the economy if you can directly transfer ownership of the entire house including all it's contents. For entrepreneurial players, this would open the door to "house flipping" for profit, that I think a lot of players would actually enjoy.

I would absolutely ADORE this. Buy a house, decorate it, and sell it. As much as I love to decorate, this would be my end-game!They could really make an interesting arm of the economy if you can directly transfer ownership of the entire house including all it's contents. With as rare as plots are on a lot of worlds I wouldn't want to see this happen until they can supply enough houses for everyone. People would still be buying it just for the plot, regardless of the decorations and it would still lead to a lot of upcharging. If you truly enjoy decorating then why not just advertise your services decorating via pf? I know at least one person on Sargatanas does so from time to time.I do think they should embrace the idea of selling houses instead of banning it. This isn't always the case. I have been house hunting and I notice whenever a small or med house comes on the market (large never do) its the same 5 people or handful of fc that buy them and within hours are selling them on pf or on other forums. And they buy them for the standard 3.5m or w/e small houses are now and sell them for 10m and sell med for 40-50m. So while it looks like someone just got tired of their house and want rid of it, its actually people who are flipping repeatedly.
