Color changing your chocobo

Not all crops work with it, but from memory these chocobo food/seeds do (someone please correct me if I'm wrong!)

All crops can be grown (just not crossbred) in the flower pots. The only seeds with growth restrictions I know of are for growing the vase flowers and those require a flower pot (cannot be grown in a normal garden).
