Your thoughts on players with bonus joining farm parties?

Sometimes they have no choice. Specially on old duties. Tell me, how many "Titan Extreme Sycn for down" or "Ravana Extreme for practice and down" are you seeing in the party finder? That tell you all. The only way to do .

I just recently finished hw and I can say that it is alot easier to get in a ravana extreme or bis extreme party in df than the older arr primals. I refuse to skip content period, I started playing this past summer and I was late to the party and I did take my sweet time to do certain things.

But with patience you can get in on the duty finder, I would never join a clear or farm party if I hadn't cleared the content. I actually use df so that I can get my practice in on the fight even if the party abandons. You may fail multiple times but if you keep trying it can happen, Ill use ramuh extreme for example I qued up for it about five times in duty finder each time prob takin like 30 mins one day I randomly played blm qued up and what do you know burned him down. But it just takes dedication from the player Im late to alex savage but I will def be doing all the tiers and plan to do all of coil as well. It just takes extreme patience and quing up everyday via duty finder, but I wouldnt recommend joining a farm party if u never cleared. I really hope one day that we have an extreme roulette are all of these good primals will just simply go to waste

I'd prefer it if they ask first. But sometimes I'll just say no because when I put up a farm, I want to farm. However, just because people don't have a bonus, as others have said, it's no guarantee they're any good. I'll take a person who has been to enrage multiple times hoping it means they know the fight better. Three strikes and they're out.

If I created a farm party and have stated 'no bonus' and someone sends me s tell saying they have bonus but they know the fight, I'd be like ._. buuuuut I'll be willing to give them the benefit of the doubt and ask my teammates if it's ok for a bonus player to join.

If they cause wipes and/or die to too many things then I'll remove them.

Just because you're bonus, doesn't mean you can't clear and just because you've cleared, it doesn't mean you're ready to farm.

You get people in farm parties that are absolute traplords that have no bonus and it makes you wonder if they got carried, at the same time you have people who are bonus that make no mistakes at all and their DPS is on point. They probably had bad luck with the people they've played with.

And this reminds me when Sephirot came out, the day after the patch I saw the enrage many times around 10%, but I couldn't get the clear after one month later in a "Kill for a friend" party. I did join some farm party asking them nicely if I could join, and there was always someone failing mechanics and making the party wipe, and of course the blame goes for the person with bonus.

Thanksfully I have all the weapons from Zurvan atm, but farm him since the day after the patch was a pain, most "farm" party disbanded after a few wipes, even the ones that asked for ilvl +265 couldn't skip mechanics.

Give a chance to someone with a bonus is fair, since the real problem is the people without bonus who gets carried with 0 knowledge of their class and/or the fight.

If they mention it beforehand, saying it's an alt or they have seen like 10%. I'll give them one pull and keep an eye on how they handle mechanics/their DPS. If they're good, no harm done. If they mess things up, I'll kick. On the other hand, if they just try to sneak in, I'll kick immediately.

No bonus means no bonus. farm is intended for people who have cleared it. If you are looking to get a clear, join a clear party.

I don't like those "no bonus" parties...I give people a chance if they're confident they know what to do but if they wipe us, they're out. If you know what you're doing, doesn't matter if you have a bonus. It probably stems from when I would wipe endlessly to Seph ex back in the day even though I had every single mech down & never missed a beat. I gave up after 100~ attempts & tried it again recently only to still perfectly play it & get a clear. People can have bonus & still know how to play. Wait is this a strawman? Wait am I rambling?

Uhh...anyway I guess they should respect the wishes of the PF & not join but I'd definitely give them a chance.

as long as they say something before we go in and they do know what they are doing I have no issues with it. in my experience people who have bonus and those who don't fail at the same rate.

After some pretty shitty experiences with allowing Bonuses in, I'm no longer doing that for my Farm parties.

What's the problem with ARR ex primals? If you want clear, just join WT group, nobody says anything about you bonus. Many will be glad for that WT point.

If you want not just clear but also to learn how to do that fight (synced), farm groups will not teach you, because:
1. They usually do it unsync
2. If you somehow went there sync, you just die somewhere, and nobody will teach you the fight
3. Individual teaching lessons cost a lot (not in game).

Some days I don't mind letting the person with the bonus stay, but I still get irritated that people don't often ask, join, queue, and boom; bonus message..

I'll be honest I didn't think the raid finder would let that happen. one of the points of it was to filter out players because of how hoorendous extremes and things were in the duty finder. so if you queue "duty complete" and someone hasn't met the requirements it shouldn't let you queue..

never tried to cheat my way into a farm party to test it and don't care enough for mounts to start my own. I just join em now and again if I have nothing else to do....
