Your thoughts on players with bonus joining farm parties?

I've been in many situations when players with bonus join farm parties.

What you will usually get from them:
- This is my alt, cleared it on my main.
- I've see it to 10% and looking for a good party to kill it.

For me, I go easy on with these people because they might be telling the truth. I give them a chance to prove to me and rest of the party that what they said is true.

Recently I had this happen and one of the party members got very mad saying that players should respect the PF rules. Since my party was a farm, everyone must have a clear. And for all we know, that player might be lying. Resulting in wasting everyones time.

If only we had an option to allow people who cleared a certain fight to join. It will solve this issue for sure.

It's annoying and they should respect that it states "no bonus", but i usually give them a chance at least.

I think it's really disrespectful even if they have seen all of the fight and know what to do. I don't tolerate this, when I enter the instance with a "farm party" and there is bonus I leave and disband party.

It is totally fine to enter the group and just state you have bonus and ask if it is ok for you to stay. The party then can decide wether they are willing to give it a try or not. (Most of times I let them stay and try it.)
But saying nothing at all and hoping for noone to find out is just a**** behaviour and not fair at all!

If I created a farm party and have stated 'no bonus' and someone sends me s tell saying they have bonus but they know the fight, I'd be like ._. buuuuut I'll be willing to give them the benefit of the doubt and ask my teammates if it's ok for a bonus player to join.

If they cause wipes and/or die to too many things then I'll remove them.

Just because you're bonus, doesn't mean you can't clear and just because you've cleared, it doesn't mean you're ready to farm.

You get people in farm parties that are absolute traplords that have no bonus and it makes you wonder if they got carried, at the same time you have people who are bonus that make no mistakes at all and their DPS is on point. They probably had bad luck with the people they've played with.

Sometimes they have no choice. Specially on old duties. Tell me, how many "Titan Extreme Sycn for down" or "Ravana Extreme for practice and down" are you seeing in the party finder? That tell you all. The only way to do Ravana Ex is go to a bird farm party, because is the only thing available nowadays. Forums are always complaining because they are lazy and want a carry, but sometimes there is no other option for some people who really want complete it. I am okay with a bonus joining on my party if they are serious on down it (of course if come to get a free carry nope). The thing "then make a down party" doesn't work always, specially on old content. Anyone will never join for a Shiva Ex down party. And problems are even greater if you want to do it in his original difficulty (sync). Yes it is a lottery. Sometimes is just a guy looking for a lazy clear,sometimes is a real player that desperately need a down because no luck on parties. I prefer the option to let them try to see how much they know about the fight.

About the feature to lock on players from PF if not cleared, is not good idea. People will abuse it, and the problem with people looking for clears will be even worse, because some people won't have even a chance to complete the duty because ALL parties lock them.

Also, ther is one thing. I've seen people without the bonus who are worse than those with bonus. This is not black or white. That's why I don't like lock people out for the bonus reason.

If player is not good- I kick him
If player is good- he stays

Be upfront about your bonus and will usually ask the group if they are OK with it and will go with the majority at least the rf stops people from sneaking in now

Every feature in the game can be abused (Vote kick & abandon). I don't imagine people using them for old content. Maybe new Savage and Extreme.
I'm not going to use this feature if it was applied. It is just a suggestion for those who really don't want a bonus. Which is why I started this thread in the first place.
I want to see peoples opinion to such behavior.

Not everyone with a clear is going to be any good at the content, carry's happen all the time.

If someone has bonus but claims to have seen the entire fight and has almost downed it, I will give them the benefit of doubt, since I have seen plenty of people with bonus do fine in farm parties, I have seen more people who have "cleared" the fight mess up just as much. You can usually tell a weak link in the party pretty easily.

Basically, explain you have bonus and ask if they will take you, as long as you don't pretend you haven't properly cleared it.
