DEV REQUEST - /gpose Request

Hey there boys and girls. I had an idea and thought I would get your take on it I would like to see added two features to our current admittedly good /gpose setup.

1. Mounts
Yeah I know you can sit on a mount and hit /gpose. What I am asking here is the ability to summon your mount like you can your chocobo as a companion while in /gpose. I highlighted that because people would read it and go nuts on me. Now in the game it would take a lot of work, but in /gpose there is no need to animate skills, balance combat, nothing. I think it would be cool if you could summon and position your mount next to you for the epic "hero and faithful steed" pic. What happens in /gpose, stays in /gpose.


2. Emote Menu
Instead of using an emote and heading into /gpose for the loop, why not an emote menu in the /gpose control panel to give a bit more control.


3. Skills
What is really cool that we can do is set off an emote and freeze the action. How about while in /gpose we have access to our combat skills. No MP/TP to use, no cooldowns, all off the books. Hit Darkside and freeze it, a BLK casting, your DRG in mid jump. Hitting the action would cause it to loop like emotes, allowing us to get the best shot. Like the emote menu, we would need a skill menu of course.

How about a slow motion feature aswell? Then we can capture the right frame of the skills

An easier solution may be to create emotes that use the skill animations. The animations already exist, They just need to copy them and reclassify as Emotes.

That would be pretty incredible for a number of reasons.

Ability to save lighting positions as long as you don't change zones.

Ability to change gear while in /gpose.
