Remove Abilities From Hotbar (not Cross Hotbar)

Greetings. I recently got a PS4 controller to play FFXIV on my computer. I put my abilities on my cross hotbar, but then I decided to have a normal hotbar on top of my cross hotbar so that I can see cooldowns and stuff. This is hotbar 4. However, once I put my abilities there, they became locked! I can't drag them out anymore! They're stuck there.

I tried using the little lock icon, but that only affects my cross hotbar. So while I can drag and drop skills to and from my cross hotbar using my mouse, I can't do anything about the abilities on my hotbar 4, other than replacing them with new abilities. I've tried and tried and nothing works! This is so crazy! Am I missing something? How do I get abilities off of my hotbar 4 using my mouse?

You need to enable hotbar 1 so you can see it. Once you see hotbar one, look for the lock beside it and unlock it, then remove your skills off hotbar 4. There may be other methods but this is the first thing to pop into my mind after reading your post.

When youre done, you can lock and disable hotbar 1 again. I personally would have just used hotbar 1 to begin with though.

LOL I knew it was gonna be something so stupidly simple such as this! xD Thanks a lot! The reason I was using hotbar 4 is because the other hotbars had stuff in it from when I played on keyboard, and I didn't wanna mess with them in case I felt like jumping back to keyboard.
